PASTA MONDAY
Everyone loves pasta and we have so many recipes! We use fresh herbs from our nursery garden to add flavour!
Our pasta meals include various sauces such as tomato based, creamy cheese with added veggies.
Puddings on Monday... Stewed fruit or fresh fruit.
Tuesday's Menu
NOODLE BOWL
Plain, Spicy and full of flavour noodles with mixed veggies. Spices and herbs are added to make noodles extra special.
Puddings on Tuesday include a choice of fresh fruit from the nursery fruit bowl.
NURSERY FAVOURITES
Nursery favourites include plant-based meals including Quorn Sausages, Quorn Bites, Veggie Fingers, Veggie Patties along with healthy low sugar baked beans or peas
Puddings on Wednesdays include Fresh Fruit Salad.
VEGGIE PACKED MEALS
Tasty Autumn veggie-packed meals with savoury Rice or Cous Cous.
Puddings today include fresh fruity yoghurt and crispy finger biscuits.
FISH FRIDAY
Week 1 Fish Fingers
Week 2 Crispy Fish Bites
Week 3 Fish & Oven Chips
Week 4 Spicy Fish Cakes
Fish served every Friday lunchtime.
Safer Eating
At Little Treasures nursery we offer a meal service and dining experience for children of registered families. Meals and nutrition are especially important when a child is learning and developing, for advice on nutrition see section below.
Children's meals are prepared on-site in our specially designed catering kitchen.
BREAKFAST
A light breakfast is available. Fees apply.
LUNCH
Lunch is a main meal served from 11:30am in our designated dining area. A small dessert follows lunch, usually fresh fruit of the season. Fess apply
SAFER EATING
Nursery staff supervise mealtimes to support children's learning and social skills whilst they eat with friends in a relaxing and comfortable dining area. Staff on lunch duty have Paedatric First Aid, Food Intollerance training. Parents must complete a dietary requirements form befoe dining at nursery begins.
Meals are included in private nursery fees for children aged over 12 months.
SPECIAL DIET REQUIREMENTS.
If your child has any special dietary requirements it is recommended that the parent provides meals. See packed lunches section below.
Payment for nursery lunch is cash and card payments upon invoice.
Packed Lunches
Bring your own!
Packed lunches are a great way to ensure your child enjoys lunchtime with friends with meals you prepare.
Parents and carers are welcome to bring packed lunches for their children. We ask you to bring healthy, nutritious, child-sized portions, ready to serve and eat! For healthy lunchbox ideas click below.
If your child has special dietary requirements we recommend you bring packed lunches.
Hydration
Our Hydration Stations at nursery enables children to drink fresh water whenever they need one.
